Zojirushi’s Multicooker has 9 convenient menu settings: Sauté/Sear, Simmer, Low/Slow Cook, Steam, White Rice, Brown Rice, Quinoa, Yogurt and Keep Warm. The Sauté/Sear setting has 2 temperature options, used for browning meats and sautéing aromatics before simmering. There is also a unique Low/Slow cook setting that allows 4 temperate settings from 140°F to 200°F for slow cooking. The 10” diameter large cooking pot accommodates large cuts of meats. The clear, tempered glass lid means that you can view the cooking process whilst the large resin maintain can be utilized to stand the lid vertically to save space and prevent messes. The Multicooker has a 1,350 watt high-powered output and a large heating plate that provides even heating whilst the highest power output in the marketplace allows for better cooking results. The recessed maintain on the body is for simple transportation and storage convenience. As a result of Zojirushi’s commitment to Secure Design, the Multicooker is designed to conceal the heating plate and cooking pot whilst cooking. The removable power cord detaches when snagged to prevent the hot pot from falling off the kitchen counter, and the overflow guard directs overflow for simple cleanup. All surfaces that come into contact with food or beverage are BPA-free.
